Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou Hotel

The onsen experience was great with relaxing baths and delicious meals. The tight bathroom made getting ready challenging.

Location: the hotel was very close to other tourist attractions, and several bus stops and most of the local attractions. Super-friendly and exceptionally nice staff with this particular staff member, gave a few recommendations.

It was fully-equipped, large and with a beautiful mountain view. Could use a private safe, central heating, and tea/coffee making equipment. The location to the stop 仙石原文化センタ- was nice and comfortable...

The tatami room was spacious and cozy, while the outdoor onsen provided a relaxing retreat, even in the rain. Breakfast featured a beautiful presentation, but the schedule for onsen use felt a bit tight. A wonderful traditional experience.

I spent 2 nights and will certainly stay here again. By and large, it was amazing base for sightseeing in Hakone, had much fun and met very skilled staff with this particular staff member. Close to a bus stop, the location was favourable and marvellous, to the stop 仙石原文化センタ-...

This place is beautiful! The room was super spacious with amazing mountain views and a cozy kotatsu. Private onsens were a highlight, and the breakfast was a traditional feast with so many options. The staff was helpful and polite. Can't recommend it enough 😊

Staying at Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou added a special touch to my trip in Japan. The kaiseki dinner blew me away with how many delicious courses were served. We were never left wanting more. I really appreciated having a private onsen to unwind in after a day of exploring. It was such a nice way to relax in the beautiful mountain setting. Plus, the room was cozy and well-maintained, with thoughtful amenities like an electric kettle and tv. I found the staff gracious and attentive, ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction. The bathroom felt a bit tight, and the schedule for onsen use was slightly too strict at times. The location made it a bit challenging to get around since it was away from main restaurant areas. We had to rely heavily on the bus system. Overall though, the fantastic food and tranquil atmosphere were great.

A Relaxing Family Retreat with Room for Improvement

Our family enjoyed unwinding in the spacious room with a private bathroom. The onsen offered a very relaxing experience after a busy day of exploration. We found the food quality a bit lacking compared to our expectations. Future guests should consider the nearby bus station for easy access.

Absolutely loved the authentic vibe! The room had a cozy futon and a warming kotatsu, made it good. Oh, don't even get me started on the exquisite food-just divine!

The bathroom was a squeeze, as if it wanted me to practice my yoga!

The staff was kind and attentive. The private onsen was just perfect, especially after our journey. The location is quite handy, just a short walk from the bus stop. We really enjoyed the delicious, beautifully presented meals, too!
